As part of the project "EMPOWERING THE CHILD’S STRENGTHS FOR VIOLENCE PREVENTION",
which aims to build a safe and positive environment in school, an in-service training was conducted to apply restorative practices to resolve conflicts and improve relationships in school. Applying restorative practices restores relationships between classmates, increases sense of belonging, reduces aggression and bullying, and at the same time develops their emotional and social skills.
The leader of the training is Dr. Belinda Hopkins, director of "Transforming Conflict." and a pioneer in the application of rehabilitation practices in school settings in the UK. The project is implemented in partnership with the Association for Child and Family Empowerment "Ave Copiii" (Moldova), Social Services Agency (Latvia), First Children's Embassy in the World - Megjashi, (Macedonia), Federatia Organizatiilor Neguvernamentale pentru Copil, (Romania), Network of Organizations for Children of Serbia - MODS, (Serbia), The Association for a better world, (Slovenia) and Tirana Legal aid society (TLAS) (Albania).
The project is implemented with the funding of the Oak Foundation for the period 2016 - 2021.
